We’ve created a contemporary white-walled gallery space because, we think, it’s the best environment in which to exhibit art. Your White Room will look as individual as your work. The Package

It costs £125 to set up an online gallery — this includes your domain name, an email address and free hosting for a year*. We provide the white space; you hang the work. Our ‘Questions & Answers’ should be all you need to get going. But if you do get stuck, just send us an email and we’ll arrange a convenient time to call you back and talk you through it* *.

Try it for Free

Try The White Room for free for 1 month and see just how easy it is to use, and how great your art will look hung in it. Just fill in the contact form and write 'FREE TRIAL PLEASE' in the comments box. We'll set you up and you can start creating your own website. There is absolutely no obligation to carry on after the month is up if you don't want to.

Add-ons

Capitalist

Add shop space to your gallery for a further £250. All you have to do is provide the stock and set up a PayPal Merchant Account so customers can buy, and you can sell, with confidence.

Exhibitionist

Adding a publicity centre to your gallery will also cost a further £250. You can set up an image bank, making it easy for journalists and publishers to download your work in a print-ready format. You can set up a diary of events and publish online press releases. Why not start writing about the process, the things that inspire you, other work you like? Writing a regular blog will not only network you to a new world of like-minded people, it will also help point potential customers towards your site. The RSS news feed will keep your growing list of contacts in the loop.

Hired help

We’ve made it as easy as possible to show your work in The White Room. However, we recognise that, for some, the digital world is still an unfathomable mystery. If that’s true for you — or if you just don’t have the time or inclination to do it yourself — get in touch and we’ll do it all for you. From £750.

Handmade

If white space isn’t your thing, speak to us about creating a bespoke site. From £1000.

Scanning

Don’t have images of your work in a digital format? Not to worry. Simply send us what you’ve got. We can convert from transparencies, slides and prints. From £2.50 per scan.

Photography

Show your work at its best. Our professional photography service is particularly useful if you want an image bank of high-resolution shots as part of your publicity centre. From £50.

Business cards

Advertise yourself, your work and your new site with The White Room branded business cards. These elegant little cards cost £45 for the first 100 — £20 per 100 thereafter.

The Small Print

* After the first year there will be a fee for hosting your site. Prices reflect the extra bandwidth each add-on requires. Minimalist: £10 per month via Direct Debit (DD) or £99 per year up front. Minimalist plus Capitalist: £15 per month via DD or £150 per year up front. Minimalist plus Exhibitionist: £15 per month via DD or £150 per year up front. Minimalist plus Capitalist, plus Exhibitionist: £17.50 per month via DD or £175 per year up front.

* * Every package includes the option of an hour’s free one-on-one tuition by telephone or webcam (Skype: TheWhiteRoomGallery). Additional sessions can be booked at a cost of £25 per hour.
